What I remember about their day: Oh wow, I have been really privileged this season to be part of some EPIC parties at weddings. Lisa & Martin’s wedding was planned by the amazing [Kraak],and everything revolved around having the best party ever. Food Stations, and lots of couches where scattered on Kleinevalleij’s lawn, overlooking the mountains. What I loved was the way they did the formalities. They didn’t spend that much time away for couple photos, but rather wanted to spend it with their friends and family. This time of year Cape Town and surrounds have the most amazing balmy evenings and they made the most of it. Rather than spending time indoors during their speeches, they had everybody outside with snacks, a ice cold glass of wine and did the speeches outside, only going inside for mains. It worked amazingly well to set the right atmosphere to one of the most enjoyable weddings in a long time. They also opted for a Slow Motion Video booth, instead of a videographer and that novel idea kept the guests entertained for hours – have a look at it here. This epic wedding “ended” with Gourmet Hot Dogs from “Die Worsrol” and sparklers….
