Ok I have said before that certain weddings are laid back…but they don’t have anything on Andrew & Nadine’s wedding. Everything was super chilled, done in a non traditional way and carefully planned by Theresa from Creation Events, to get the maximum out of the day in terms of socialising with friends and family. The décor reminded me of a scene out of Harry Potter with suspended floral installations from the ceiling, with lots of little lights sparkling…magical! In step with their non traditional wedding, Nadine wore a short Skater Dress and cowboy boots – she is from America after all – y’all ;)

The thing about their wedding that stood out for me, was when Andrew during his speech said that Nadine will always get up on a Saturday or a Sunday, after they both had a really hectic week at work and say “What a beautiful day, let’s go for a hike”. He said that he almost always does not want to go, and he complains severely for the first 5km of the hike and then he starts enjoying it. I feel that’s how a relationship should be… we’re not always going to be doing the things that we like or love, but we’re doing it for the other person and you end up being a better, happier person because of that.

Food was yet again on point… thanks Liz from Rockhaven and Candice you did a great job with the and hair.
