There’s just a certain vibe to a wedding held at someone’s own home. I’m not sure if it’s the comfort of familiar surroundings or the sentimentality behind it, but I’ve always had such a feel-good experience at such weddings. Christian & Natasha celebrated in her family home, with the ceremony on the lawn and the reception close to the pool. Christian and Natasha met about 3 years ago and there was an instant spark between the shy, quiet German boy and the vibrant & spontaneous South African girl. I kept asking Natasha during the day if she can speak some German to which she replied “Only Ich liebe dich”. Needless to say she surprised everyone and Christian most of all when she did most of her speech in, to my untrained ears, perfect German. Natasha & Christian, hope your marriage will be as happy and spontaneous as your wedding day…
