Craig and Nicci had a wedding week of spectacular proportions. They started the festivities, to introduce some of the guests (who literally flew in from all over the world), to true South African hospitality and food, with a proper South African braai. The team at La Residence did an amazing job, and to get everybody in a relaxed and festive mood, they had traditional African drummers teach the guests how to properly beat the drum. It was one of the most fun things I’ve experienced in a long time!

On the second night, they upped the antsy and had a very classy Cocktail Party in the forecourt of La Residence, with the Hungarian Trio entertaining guests with their classical music. Nicci had the wonderful experience of opening a bottle of Champagne with the Sabrage method… she got it right the 1st time and was “Knighted” for her efforts. Well done!!
