I left Rick & Mary’s wedding wonder if I’m living my life to the full? If I had to use one word to describe their wedding day it would be “celebration” in the very essence of it. The wedding was small and intimate, with just their near and dear there. They entered the reception on the funky beats of “Up Town Funk”, and had the guests dancing along, that way setting the awesome vibe for the rest of the evening.

The best man speech by Slims, was one of, if not the best, I heard in the 200 plus wedding I’ve shot. Given that you can only go, full out as he did, if you have the safety of already being married, and skipping the consequences of Rick doing the same to you. He literally had everybody in stitches, and I had trouble not dropping my camera, from laughter, quite a few times. Rick & Mary, I truly enjoyed being a spectator to your special day – you made my job worthwhile…

I’d like to make a special mention of Marlé & Riana, form SomeDaySoon. It’s the first time I worked with them and what an absolute pleasure! They made coordinating a wedding seem effortlessly (which it’s not). And Thanks Ida, for Mary’s beautiful make-up and hair… always a pleasure working with you.
